Coming Soon - The Wolf & Dulci Hour Live Radio Show

We are very excited to announce that Wolf & I will soon be launching a weekly 1-hour radio show discussing iclone, movie-making in general, 3d graphic design, and whatever else floats our boat at a given time. This will be in association with TMOA Radio.

What we are looking for right now are audio commercials for YOUR current movies, upcoming films, content for sale, fansites - if it's iclone & machinima related, we'd love to include it! Please forward any audio commercials to dulcineatmo@gmail.com in mp3 format.

More details will be forthcoming, but needless to say, we're pretty excited about this endeavor and hope that we say at least one thing worth remembering each show (I like to have very minimal goals!).

Recommended Viewing - War Bird by Bongoman

Warbird by Bongoman

As I describe it, "You truly are an artist. I love this surreal flick - such an intricate weaving of unexpected sights with just awesome music to go along with it."

As Bongoman describes it, "Originally intended as a preview of a movie series & have in mind to do, then as a collage music video, this brainfart for modern times ended up a nouveau art piece that has some endearing qualities. Basically various botmatches recorded in UT2k4 with some video post applied, with a Moviestorm host to watch over it. I think the music turned it into an art piece, I have been playing a lot of guitar lately, & used a jam I had recorded recently.

How will you describe it?

The Brain From Outer Space

While experimenting with some techniques in iclone3, I decided to make a fun, campy B-movie.

Beware...The Brain From Outer Space!!! Muahahahaha!

Just call me Goldilocks

The set I am putting together is an office. Specifically, an office for two military officers to have a nice little chat. My co-conspirator (err I mean collaborator) has weighed in with his opinion on each attempt and I confess, I feel a little like Goldilocks trying to find that just-right porridge!

Too soft!

Too hard!

And hopefully on my way to just right...

I'm not happy with version 3 yet, but what's been fun about the last two efforts is that they are both versions of the same base:

What's so significant and fun about that, you might ask. Well, it means I'm delving into the world of materials using iclone3 a bit more substantially than I have in the past. I've fiddled here and there for practice and to see what's possible, but there's nothing like having a mission and a vision in mind that I'm trying to bring to life to really get me to delve into a new technique. And for me, materials and making things shiny and purty in iclone is still pretty much new.

Wish me luck!

Exlax - old time radio commercial

Just the other day I was blogging about how I felt a movie brewing inside me. I had no idea this was where inspiration was going to lead me...

This little flick was created with iclone3 and Corel VideoStudio12.

Finally, no more horse teeth

Photobucket

I'm rather fond of this character. He took me some time to fiddle with in iclone3. At first, he looked deceptively normal....

Photobucket

But when I had him lipsynch he looked all toothy, like a horse.

I finally re-discovered the mouth adjustment feature in iclone, and moved his teeth into a much more suitable, human-like position. Hooray!

I can feel it

I can feel something brewing in me. A nugget of an idea. Nesting somewhere in my depths. Last time this happened I churned out The Thingy and stood back astonished at the reception.

This feeling is making me antsy (great word, don't you think?). Restless. Incomplete. I need to churn this into something. My muse just hasn't pointed me in the right direction yet.
