Actor and CrazyTalk

After going through many possibilities, I've finally settled on the appearance for one of the main characters in The Lounge Singer.

Say hello to Christian...

And thanks to this CrazyTalk Pupeteering tutorial by James Martin, I'm now delving into emotive scripts for each line in the movie. The last thing I want is for my characters to appear stiff and unnatural.

Highly Recommended Viewing - Temporary Night

Temporary Night has been released by Nukester, and is truly a sensational movie. Captivating from the minute I hit play. I'll be honest - I saw a runtime of 69 minutes and gulped...hoping for the best but not sure what to expect. This is refreshing, stunning, moving, and absolutely beautiful. Unique, mesmerizing, and the time flew by - these were 69 minutes of my time well spent, and I plan on revisiting this movie again and again.

Experience a slice of life on the bright streets of 'Neon City', where drama unfolds at every corner.

Sean is currently going through a marriage crisis and is on the verge of a breakdown.

He ends up taking solace at a night club called the “Temporary Night” where he befriends a mysterious dancer/waitress called ‘Naomi’.

Through fate, two strangers with problems lean on each other for support and find friendship but where does this lead to?

So if you're, say, a voice actor, you could make a movie about voice acting, being a voice actor, the trials and tribulations of voice acting, whatever - comedy, drama, melodrama, horror, documentary....I could see anything from a documentary on how to read a character from the script, to a horror movie about dealing with an insane, controlling director.

Baroom set

For my upcoming movie The Lounge Singer, I spent some time positioning spotlights in iclone to match up with the barlights, with this being the final outcome:

Migraine

I made this movie two years ago in an effort to rid myself of a migraine that had plagued me for five days in a row. Believe it or not, it worked.

It was an interesting exercise because I often use movie-making as a release for emotions. I hadn't expected it to be a release for physical pain as well.
